IS THIS SEMINAR FOR ME?
* You’re a Chiropractor, Physiotherapist, Osteopath and Occupational Therapist looking at improving your clinical competency in managing patients with spinal related conditions including chronic pain, scoliosis, poor posture and balance
* You’re a new graduate or experienced practitioner, either with little to no experience in neurology and vestibular rehabilitation
* You desire to make a big difference with an increasing number of patients suffering chronic spinal condition including those with sporting injuries, motor vehicle accidents and falls
* Feed up with poor results using standard musculoskeletal therapies and outdated principles
* You’re looking for an integrated brain-based approach in managing challenging cases
* You learn best when there is a mix of relevant lecture material, reinforced with hands-on practicals
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
* Appreciate that scoliosis and other spinal conditions can be considered a brain-based problem
* Understand the brains/nervous systems influence on scoliosis, movement and posture, specifically from the vestibular system and other spinal control centres
* Learn the latest evidence-based clinical neuroscience that is emerging in the causes and management for idiopathic scoliosis
* How to perform a multi-modal, brain-based assessment, including proprioceptive, vestibular, cerebellar, and cortical tests
* Consider how primitive and postural reflexes influence early neuro-musculoskeletal development
* Learn advanced techniques and protocols for managing idiopathic scoliosis, chronic spinal pain and poor posture that consider spine, TMJ, eye movements, vestibular, sensorimotor integration, and advanced neuromodulation therapies
* Add these neuro-rehabilitation therapies to existing scoliosis techniques, including manual therapies, bracing, and exercise
